What About Job – Part 2

We have to quit basing our theology on “when bad things happen” that God gives and takes away. God gives blessings and the devil takes away. Jesus has revealed this to us in the New Testament.

Just because the bible says that [Job said] “the Lord gives and takes away” DOES NOT MEAN that the Lord gives and takes away! Especially since Job admitted in the end that he did not know what he was talking about the things of God. He was saying things about God that he didn’t understand. Job admitted he was wrong about God in the end. Especially NOW that we have Jesus who has revealed the TRUE NATURE of God. Jesus said in John 10:10 that the devils purpose is to STEAL KILL and DESTROY you. Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly. Did Jesus ever say the Lord gives and takes away? NO! Jesus said God gives and satan takes away! John 10:10

God does NOT even ALLOW evil. Fear is clearly what Job allowed in his heart which caused satan to attack him and his family. 1 John 4:18 says that there is NO FEAR in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear INVOLVES TORMENT. Torment does not come from God. If you and your child were out on the streets, would you ALLOW someone to come along and rape or murder or torment your child? NO way! Yet, many today are saying that God allows evil. Jesus came to reveal the truth about God. That’s the whole Gospel message – the Good God that has NO EVIL in HIM whatsoever! As 1 John 1:5 puts it – this is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, THAT GOD IS LIGHT AND THERE IS NO DARKNESS IN HIM AT ALL. The devil is not God’s messenger boy or the evil spirit that takes care of God’s dirty work for Him. I heard someone say that the devil can’t do anything unless he has God’s permission. I believe this is wrong. You might as well just say God does terrible thing to people. We must stop basing our view of how God does things from the first part of the book of Job, but look to the end of Job. Job said he was wrong about God. Elihu said God does not afflict (Job 37:23 KJV). However, we must REALIZE that God is absolutely GOOD and there is NO BAD in Him whatsoever!

My Psalm 91 Armor

I declare that I live in the shelter of the Most High and I find rest in the shadow of the Almighty God. He alone is my refuge and my place of safety. He is my God and I trust in Him. He rescues me from EVERY trap and protects me from ALL deadly diseases. God covers me with His feathers and shelters me with His wings. His FAITHFUL promises are my armor and protection. I am NOT afraid of the terrors in the night, nor the arrows that fly during the day. I do NOT dread the diseases that stalk in the darkness, nor the disasters that strikes in the daytime. Even though a thousand may fall dead at my side and ten thousand are dying all around me, THESE EVILS WILL NOT TOUCH ME! The Lord rescues me because I love Him. He protects me because I trust in His name. I call on Him and He answers me EVERY TIME. He is with me when trouble comes and then He rescues me and honors me. He rewards me with a long life and I am saved forever!

Bad Thinking vs. Good Thinking

Bad thinking:
God thank you for this sickness or wait I really don’t know if it’s Your will or not for me to have this sickness. Will you please heal me or at least let me know if it’s your will for me to have this? If this is You putting this sickness on me to teach me a lesson, then why am I going to the doctor to try and get out of Your will. Maybe I’ll just sit here and wait for You to heal me cause I really don’t know if I’m supposed to be healed or not.

Good thinking:
Father, thank You for sending Your Son Jesus to heal me. Thank You Jesus for taking on my sins and boring my sicknesses on the cross. I know for a fact that You do not want anyone sick. The devil is the one trying to steal my health because Your Word tells me so. I command this sickness to leave in Jesus name. I may feel sick and I don’t deny the sickness trying to come upon me, but I do deny the right of the sickness to stay in my body. Thank You Jesus for my health. I walk by faith and I am seeing my body healed because Your Word tells me I am healed. Thank You Father!

Realize that God is for you and not against you. God does not want you sick and He is not afflicting you to teach you a lesson. Do you afflict your kids with sickness to teach them a lesson? Jesus is your example of the true nature of God now –
Oh taste and see that the Lord is good – Psalm 34:8

The True Nature of God by: Andrew Wommack

I love this so much i had to share-

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Romans 8:15

“Abba, Father” speaks of an intimate, loving relationship with God. Today we would say “daddy” or “papa.” Sadly, though, many do not have this kind of relationship with the Lord. They’re so worried about not sinning themselves into hell that they can’t process the idea that God might actually love them unconditionally.

Even those who know they are saved still believe God will give them a disease, keep them poor, or refuse to answer their prayers. They try to put a positive spin on it by saying God is trying to “perfect them,” but the bottom line is, in their minds, they are being punished for not being good enough. That creates a spirit of fear and puts them in bondage to sin.

That should not be how a Christian relates to God.

First John 4:18 says,

If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.

New Living Translation

Just because you fear that God wants to punish you doesn’t mean it’s true. It just means you don’t understand God’s loving nature yet. I believe one of the reasons many Christians perceive God as angry or demanding is because they have never thought of man’s redemption from God’s point of view.

God made man in His image, after His likeness (Gen. 1:26). Contrary to what many pet owners think today, a dog is not in the image of the man who takes care of it. But a child is. God made man to be His child. That’s why in the Gospels, Jesus repeatedly refers to God as “your Father.”

We know that from the Garden of Eden, God wanted Adam and Eve, His children, to live in beauty and provision. There was no sickness, no death, and no lack. Man ruling over a perfect, blessed world was God’s perfect will.

Imagine, then, how this loving Father must have felt when one day His children were hiding from Him. He had literally given them the whole world. There was only one thing that was bad for them, the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. God had warned His children that they would die if they ate of it, but instead of trusting Him, Satan convinced them that God was holding out on them. They still believed there was some sort of enjoyment their Father did not want them to have.

This act of disobedience transferred man’s authority over the earth to Satan, making the devil the “prince of this world” (John 12:31). It’s also the reason there is death, sickness, and lack. Those things do not exist in God’s kingdom. They weren’t in the Garden of Eden. They aren’t in heaven either. They only exist where Satan is in authority. When people blame God for suffering and death, they are getting their kingdoms confused.

God hates human suffering. It was never His will, nor is it in His kingdom. But the world was created by the integrity of His Word. The Lord had given the authority to rule over this world to Adam. Adam voluntarily chose to hand it over to Satan and separate himself from God.

To me, this is where the Lord shows His true nature. He could have just said, “You made your bed—now lie in it.” He could have destroyed Satan’s kingdom immediately, sending man to hell right along with it. But God didn’t do either one. He never stopped loving His kids, so instead of punishing them, He sent Jesus with the sole purpose of paying their ransom with His death (Matt. 20:28).

This made the way for right relationship with God. Anyone who believes in the name of Jesus can be reborn as a child of God. The moment we receive this salvation, we are no longer sinners in His eyes, but are righteous and truly holy (Eph. 4:24). It’s our nature to want to tell God how unworthy we are, but God doesn’t see us that way.

Hebrews 10:17 reads,

And their sins and iniquities will I [God] remember no more.

Brackets mine

Born-again believers are not on probation. That’s what most Christians don’t understand. We are not trying to work our way back into God’s kingdom. The moment we accept Jesus as our Savior, we are delivered from Satan’s kingdom and translated back into God’s (Col. 1:13).

That’s why Jesus taught His disciples not to worry about life, or having enough food to eat or clothes to wear. There is no lack in God’s kingdom. If you need something in life, don’t look at yourself and your abilities; instead, “seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Luke 12:31).

Religion has taught us that prosperity is a dirty word used by people who are spiritually immature and selfish. That isn’t true. Being blessed isn’t about our will; it’s about God’s nature.

Jesus said in Luke 12:32,

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

If you surveyed the average Christian today about what gave God pleasure, most would answer with something about repentance from sin or dead works. Probably not one out of a hundred would answer, “Seeing His children blessed.” On the other hand, if you asked one hundred parents what gave them pleasure, most answers would include something about seeing their children happy and doing well.

If it is in a parent’s nature to want to see their children prosper and be in good health, why would God be different (3 John 2)?

That’s exactly the point Jesus was making in Matthew 7:11:

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

It is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. God doesn’t just want you to have a cup; He wants you to have a cup that is overflowing. God doesn’t just want you to catch a few fish; He wants you to catch so many fish, your nets are breaking and your boat is about to sink. He wants everyone to have their fill with twelve baskets left over.

Many argue that the existence of struggling Christians is proof that it’s not always God’s will to see His children healthy and prospering. Again, they are getting their kingdoms confused. Sure, we still live in a fallen world. We still have an Enemy who wants to steal, kill, and destroy us. But that’s why we must receive our blessing through a supply channel called faith.

Hebrews 11:6 refers to this:

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Many Christians don’t feel worthy to come to God in faith that He will help them, because they have been taught that their sin has disqualified them. But, see, that doesn’t please God. He doesn’t want you to think of Him as the punisher of those who aren’t perfect; He wants you to come to Him with the expectation of reward—not because you are good but because He is good.

I know this is the opposite of what religion has taught us, but it’s clearly illustrated in the parable often referred to as the Prodigal Son. When most of us read this story, we relate with the son who ran away. We know our behavior has made us unworthy to be in the presence of our Father, so maybe if we beg forgiveness and confess our sins, God will let us live in His kingdom as a lowly servant.

However, Jesus was not telling this story to illustrate man’s nature; He was illustrating God’s nature.

Luke 15:20 explains how God feels about us when we become born again.

But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

The son confessed his unworthiness to the father, but the father didn’t even acknowledge it. There was no putting his son on probation or making him work his way back into the father’s good graces. The father wasn’t interested in punishing his son; he was too excited about getting back to what brought him pleasure—blessing his children.

He immediately restored his son into the family by putting a ring on his finger, shoes on his feet, and dressing him in the best robe. Then he threw a party. The son’s disloyalty and rebellion would no longer be remembered or brought up. It didn’t matter anymore. The only thing that mattered to the father was expressed in Luke 15:24:

For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

That’s the attitude of a loving father. That’s the true nature of God

God’s Perspective on Down Syndrome Pt.2

A Message of Hope – A Miracle Waiting to be Seen

Miracle

Today, I am calling things that are not as though they were. (Romans 4:17) The world and the doctors say that my son Isaac has Down syndrome or an extra chromosome. Whatever the people of this world want to label my son, is ok with me and my family, but we do not go by the things that we see. We walk and live by the faith of the Son of God. (Galatians 2:20)And He says that Isaac is healed (1 Peter 2:24), so that is what we proclaim. I cannot see that extra chromosome with my physical eyes, but what I do see are the effects of this genetic disorder on Isaac’s physical appearances.

clint_and_issac

Thank You Jesus that Your Word says that we do not go by what we see. My family and I are calling things that do not exist as though they did and we will see it come to pass. Isaac’s extra chromosome or DS no longer remains in Jesus’ Name. Even the effects of these disorders dissolve in his physical appearance. Down syndrome, Trisomy 21, extra chromosome, disorders, disabilities, delays, or whatever you want to call it, is not from God!

Isaac2

Some have said that believing this way offends a lot of people. When I say that all diseases are from the devil, I am not saying that my child or your child is from the devil. I am saying that diseases are from the devil. Separate the child from the disorder for crying out loud! Yes all people with DS/Trisomy 21 have a good-hearted spirit in them. They are very loving, caring, and content. And that Spirit in them is the Spirit of God. But the genetic defect part is NOT from God. My son is a special gift from God and he is NOT any different than any other child. ALL children are special gifts from God. One person told my family that we were being selfish for isolating our son and that he needs to grow up and have other friends with DS. No, we are not being selfish. We are going to let our son grow up and be friends with whoever he wants to. Our son is going to be involved with all types of children in all places. My son Isaac is the most beautiful child. He is so sweet and I thank God every day for blessing us with him. My family and I have been harassed by a popular public figure for believing this way, but guess what – WE LIVE IN A FREE COUNTRY STILL. We have freedom to believe how we want and we have freedom to speak out on this. I believe that it is completely biblical also. My family and I put our faith in the power of God. We do not put our faith in the wisdom of human beings. (1 Corinthians 2:5) Thank you God for our Founding Fathers, who almost all were Christians, and for our constitution, which allows us to believe and speak how we want to. My intention of this blog is not to offend ANYONE, but to lift up, encourage, and give a message of HOPE. The whole bible is a message of Hope and that hope is in Jesus Christ, who I believe can heal anyone. All I am doing in this blog is promoting healing for my son or anyone else with these genetic defects. Not only am I promoting healing (Proverbs 12:18), but I promote the Gospel on this blog also. Look at my other posts, for it all is a message of HOPE. Faith is how the bible says we are to walk. We believers are to walk in faith not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7) God’s Word also tells us that Jesus bore all of our sicknesses and diseases. (Matthew 8:17) It also tells us that Jesus healed ALL sicknesses and diseases. Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today, and FOREVER! (Hebrews 13:8)

As you can see, this blog does not have any ads. I am not making any money off of this blog. It is simply to provide people with the truth and setting them free with God’s Word. I will allow all debatable comments if they are given in love and I will delete all comments that are arrogant and mean-spirited. Thank you for reading my blog.

God Always Says YES!

According to your faith in Christ and according to His word, you can ask anything that lines up with His word and it shall be done. If His word is in you and you remain in Christ, ask Him anything and it will be done. Healings line up with His word. If you want someone or yourself healed, ask Him. He always says YES. Every time in His word He said, “I AM WILLING “. This means that Jesus wants to heal you! Are you struggling with sickness or disease? Are you struggling with an addiction? Are you struggling with pornography? Pornography is a deep dark addiction that only Jesus Christ can free you from. Ask Him, Jesus is willing. He says YES every time!    JESUS CAME TO SAVE THE LOST, HEAL THE SICK, AND SET THE CAPTIVES FREE!  ASK FOR ANYTHING AND HE WILL DO IT!

For all the promises of God in Christ are YES and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 2Cor. 1:20

Alcoholism

I remember when I was court ordered to go to Alcoholics Anonymous. I had just turned my life over to Christ. The first thing we did was gather, hold hands, and recite the Lord’s prayer. “Hmm” I thought to myself, “maybe these people are Christians”. Boy was I wrong. It really bothered me when EVERY single person that gave their testimony stood up and said my name is “joe blow” and I AM AN ALCOHOLIC. I don’t know why this bothered me so much. When it got time for me to give my testimony, I stood up and said my name is Clint and I am NOT an alcoholic. I told everyone that Jesus Christ was my savior and He can totally heal me from ANY addiction. At the end of that night I remember a lady came up to me and told me not to use the name Jesus. She said that her dad was a preacher growing up and raped her. Wow, I told her, but I said I didn’t mean to offend her, but it was the truth and it’s how I believed. Later as the classes went on, I began to sense that most people thought that they would never be free from their problem. Addiction was all around the smoke filled room. As I look back today I really believe that the Lord used me that day to share with people that God can heal ANY addiction. Now as a mature Christian, I realize my identity in Christ. Now I know why it bothered me so much and why I was not going to call myself an alcoholic. The bible says “as a man thinks in his heart so is he.” I unconsciously knew who I was in my core being. Holy, Righteous, and perfect! Thank you Lord for removing my desire to drink alcohol.

If you have an addiction problem, please consider giving your life to Christ. He can totally free you from ALL addictions. Please contact me if you need help asking Jesus in your heart!

But the tongue of the wise promotes health Prv 12:18

Blessed shall be the fruit of your body. Deut 28:4

Fearing God and departing from evil is health to your body Prv 3:7-8

But a faithful ambassador brings health Prv 13:17

Beloved, I pray that you prosper and be in health 3John 2

Daughter, your faith has made you well. Mark 5:34

Definitions:

Health

  • the condition of being sound in body, mind, and spirit
  • freedom from physical disease or pain
  • overall well-being of your body

 Wholesome

  • promoting health of the body, mind, and spirit
  • sound in body, mind, and spirit, or morals

Sound

  • free from injury or disease
  • free from flaw, defect, or decay
  • exhibiting normal health

Well

  • free or recovered from infirmity or disease
  • completely healed or cured

Your tongue or your mouth, your body or your flesh are things that are here on earth! I don’t think we will have a mouth or body in heaven. God wants us well here on earth. I believe if we start with our minds first and getting it healthy, then our spirit becomes healthy, which causes our physical bodies here on earth to become healthy. So, how do we get our minds healthy? God gives a spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. I believe getting a sound mind starts with getting into God’s word. Get personal with His word. Let Him speak to you through His word. Start speaking God’s word and it will get into your spirit.

We must see ourselves as already healed! Don’t wait for the physical healing, be WATCHING for it! Get to a point to know God wants us healed and know we are healed before seeing the physical healing in our bodies, and then the healing will manifest!

Salvation and healing came in the same package!

Our blessing is already there, we need to believe and take possession of these blessings. We are able to overcome it! Numbers 13
