Jesus is the ONLY TRUTH

The Word of God is Jesus. Jesus is the Way and the Truth. Jesus is the ONLY WAY and the ONLY TRUTH. If your view of God does not line up with the Word of God- JESUS, then you might need to renew your mind on your views about God.

Jesus didn’t kill – He raised to life
He didn’t make people sick-He healed
He doesn’t send evil-He delivers from evil
He isn’t darkness – He is light
He doesn’t send people to hell- He delivers people from hell
He doesn’t tempt- He leads away from it

God is good – the devil is bad 😉

Flying Dream

So I had a dream that I was flying. I believe this was the first time I have ever had a dream like this. It felt so awesome to be free and high above the mountains in the earth. All of a sudden I get a feeling that I start to lose control and go higher and higher. A feeling of fear comes over me and instantly I receive instructions on how to come down and get back in control. It was like a video instruction in my mind of a guy letting all of his air out of his lungs. Kinda of like when you let all of your air out in water and you sink to the bottom. And then the peace of freedom came back!

Reading the Bible

There are contradictions in the bible if you read it literally. Take for instance 2 Samuel 24:1. It says that the anger of the Lord was aroused against Israel and He (God) moved David against them. Now go to 1 Chronicles 21:2. This is the exact same story. It says that Satan stood up against Israel and moved David to number Israel. This is a major contradiction. UNLESS you believe that God and satan work together. Well that’s what the writers of the OT thought and unfortunately alot of people believe this today. Now lets go to the New Testament and see what Jesus says in John 10:10 The thief does not come EXCEPT to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come so that they may have life, AND that they may have it more abundantly. I believe that Jesus is the key when trying to understand ALL Scripture. In John 8:44 Jesus says that the devil is the father of lies and he has been murdering from the very beginning. Jesus has revealed to us today who the one is that has been evil from the very beginning. There is NO EVIL in God whatsoever. James tells us in Chapter 1 vs 13 that no man shall even SAY that God tempts with evil. The word tempt in the Greek is Peirazo (Strong’s Concordance # G3985) which means to tempt, try, test, scrutinize, or punish. WOW! Do not even say that God punishes with evil! John tells us in 1 John 1:5 that this is the message they heard from Jesus Himself- THAT GOD IS LIGHT AND THERE IS NO DARKNESS IN HIM AT ALL! So who was it that moved David against Israel? Was it the anger of the Lord or was it Satan? With what Jesus has revealed to us, I believe that it was ONLY Satan that moved David against Israel. God had nothing to do with it. God has never been angry with His people. Alot of people say that the devil has to get permission from God before he can seek, kill, and destroy anyone. I believe this is not true. God and the devil DO NOT WORK TOGETHER. They get this from the book of Job.

Jesus is the key to reading the bible correctly. We must focus on Him and what He says about God while interpreting ALL SCRIPTURE.

Charlie Brown Christmas

With all the people FORGETTING the true meaning of Christmas these days, it is amazing to me how the Charlie Brown Christmas Special is the 2nd most watched and 2nd longest running special on US network TV.

Here are some interesting facts on the Charlie Brown Christmas special:

When they first saw the show, CBS executives were horrified at the idea of an animated Christmas special with such a blatant message. They also strongly objected to the fact that the show had no canned laughter.

When viewing the rough cut of the show, both Bill Melendez and Lee Mendelson were convinced that they had a flop on their hands. After it premiered, they were happily surprised and shocked at the high ratings and excellent reviews that the show received. Today, the show remains the second longest-running Christmas special on US network television (the 1964 “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer” premiered one year earlier and is still broadcast every year on US network television).

Linus’s speech about the true meaning of Christmas is actually Luke 2:8-14 from the King James translation of the Bible.

During his famed speech, Linus, who is well known to be dependent on his security blanket, actually lets go of it when he recites these words: “Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy,” which is from Luke 2:10

The special broke many of the rules prevalent for animated holiday specials during the 1960s: it didn’t make use of a laugh track; real children were used for the character voices instead of adult actors imitating children’s voices; and Biblical references were used to illustrate the true meaning of Christmas.

Bill Melendez tried to talk Charles M. Schulz out of using Biblical references (especially Linus’s speech) in this special. Schulz reportedly won him over by saying, “If we don’t do it, who will?” As it turned out, Linus’ recitation was hailed as one of the most powerful moments in the highly acclaimed special.

Just before her remarks about Christmas being a big commercial racket, Lucy refers to Charlie Brown simply as Charlie. This is the only time she does this in any of the TV specials: every other time it’s Charlie Brown.

Don’t FORGET the true meaning of Christmas this year- A SAVIOR IS BORN, CHRIST THE LORD…..GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST….AND ON EARTH….PEACE AND GOODWILL TOWARD ALL PEOPLE!

GOD’S WRATH?

So the Scriptures say that Lucifer got jealous and was going to exalt himself above God. Was he angry with God ? He had freewill just like us didn’t he? Don’t we get angry when we are jealous and can’t have what we want? The reason for these questions:

What if the anger has been Satan All along? What if God HAS NEVER BEEN ANGRY?

Did God tell Adam and Eve that He was going to kill them if they ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil? NO. It was a warning out of love. I believe that Satan was angry with God and when Adam and Eve ate this fruit, the jealous/anger of the devil was put into them which led them to believe God was angry with them. Moses struck the rock in anger even though God told him to speak to the rock. This portrayed an angry God to all of God’s children. This is why Jesus came. He came to reveal that God HAS NEVER been angry with His children. It has been Satan all along. There is no wrath of God. It is the wrath of the devil! Jesus came and WILLINGLY laid His life down to the devil for us. It was not God’s wrath poured out on Jesus. It was Satan pouring out his wrath on Him. Jesus’ life was a ransom for our sin paid TO Satan BY God. Jesus laid His life down TO Satan FOR US!

For you know that God paid a ransom to SAVE YOU from the EMPTY LIFE you inherited from your ancestors. 1 Peter 1:18 (NLT)

IN CHRIST Psalm 51

I have been purged with hyssop and I am clean

I have been washed, and I am whiter than snow

God hides His face from sins and HAS blotted out ALL MY INIQUITIES

Sinner or not a Sinner

From now on when you hear a Christian say “I am a sinner” just ask this question and give them these two verses:

Are you born of God or are you of the devil?

He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the very beginning. 1 John 3:8

Whoever is born of God does not commit sin ; for God’s seed remains in him and he CANNOT SIN, because he is born of God. 1 John 3:9

You can’t be both born of God and of the devil, THEREFORE YOU ARE EITHER A SINNER OR NOT A SINNER!

So which one are you?
