Bible Translators

I am by no means a Bible scholar, but if the group of people who translated our Bible’s to English had the mindset of today’s well known theologian John Piper, I believe we are in TROUBLE …

“It’s right for God to slaughter women and children anytime He pleases. God gives life and He takes life. Everybody who dies, dies because God wills that they die. God is taking life every day. He will take 50,000 lives today. Life is in God’s hand. God decides when your last heartbeat will be, and whether it ends through cancer or a bullet wound. God governs. So God is God! He rules and governs everything. And everything he does is just and right and good. God owes us nothing”

This is why it is so important to me to let the Holy Spirit be my Bible translator and guide!

Suffering

I don’t focus on the devil, but I do recognize the difference between him and God almighty. Satan is the origin of evil whose only purpose is TO DESTROY AND KILL US.

It …IS NOT… God CAUSING OR ALLOWING these things to happen so we can grow in our faith or teach us a lesson. There is such a thing as righteous suffering …We suffer like Jesus did and we suffer by CEASING FROM SIN and RESISTING THE DEVIL…. Yes sickness, disease, and death still exists today BUT BUT BUT we are to FIGHT these horrible things…And when we fight and resist sickness, disease, and death AND OVERCOME  these things, then and only then does GOD GET the GLORY….AMEN

The Word of God is Within

Be filled with the SPIRIT….

making melody in YOUR HEART…Eph 5:18-19

…take the shield of FAITH (faith is spiritual-its unseen)…take the sword of the SPIRIT which is the word of God…eph 6:16-17

Paul says pray for him in the SPIRIT so UTTERANCE may be given to him to speak boldly…eph 6:19

In Hebrews…

Today if you will HEAR His voice…do not harden your HEART…this is repeated 3x in chapter 3…

In chapter 4: for the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the SOUL and SPIRIT…..and is a discerner of your THOUGHTS and intents of the HEART!

The Word of God is not the Bible, it is Jesus Christ….it is the Spirit of Christ living on the inside of our hearts….it is a SPIRITUAL voice on the inside of our hearts…

However, when He, the SPIRIT of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth…John 16:8

The SPIRIT of Truth…you know Him, He dwells with you and will be in you…John 14:17

My Words abide IN YOU. John 15:7

But the Holy Spirit also WITNESSES to us…”this is the covenant that I will make with them after those days says the Lord: I will put My laws into their HEARTS and in their MINDS I will write them…Heb 10:15

CAN YOU LOVE?

CAN YOU LOVE?

Can you love the people who don’t love you back?

Can you love the people who want to crucify you?

Can you love the people who disagree with your theology?

Can you love the people who say “you’re a sinner and you’ll burn in hell forever?”

Can you love the person who defriends you on FB?

Can you love your enemies?

Can you love those who want to kill Christians?

Can you love people who follow Jesus Christ and do not go to church on Sundays?

Can you love someone who doesn’t believe in hell?

Can you love someone who does believe in hell?

Can you love those who don’t believe in Jesus?

Can you love those who do believe in Jesus?

Can you love people who think being gay is a choice?

Can you love people who think being gay is not a choice?

It’s easy to love those who love you back but can you love those who dont?

Jesus said… “If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even sinners love those who love them! And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much! And if you lend money only to those who can repay you, why should you get credit? Even sinners will lend to other sinners for a full return.

Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate!”
