Your Faith, Your Unbelief, Your Words

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
Faith is two things:
Substance of things hoped for
Evidence of things not seen

When we hope for something you can’t see it because it hasn’t happened yet. To get the things you hope for you must add the substance of faith with it. Hope and faith go together. If you hope that God will do something for you, then you are wavering. Faith is knowing that God will give you the things you are hoping for. It is not the size of your faith that matters. Jesus said you must have faith AS a mustard seed. It is how you believe not how much believe. Jesus said if you have faith as a mustard seed that you can move a mountain. So, you can have the smallest faith in the world and ANYTHING will be possible for you. Jesus told the woman with the issue of blood that it was HER FAITH that made her well. Notice that Jesus did not say I have made you well, but YOUR FAITH has made you well. Faith is the evidence of things not seen. Faith is knowing, without any hint of doubt in your heart, that you will get the things you hope for. The woman with the issue of blood knew that if she could just touch Jesus’ garment, she would be healed. When she touched His garment, power was released. Her faith is what released the power of Jesus to flow through His body and through His garment to heal her. Now that is faith. So believe that God wants you well today and YOUR FAITH will make you well. And give God the glory!

I believe that unbelief can cause you not to get the things you hope. Jesus’ disciples wondered why they couldn’t cast the demon out of the epileptic man. Jesus told them it was because of their unbelief. Jesus told the fig tree to die and it immediately withered away. The disciples marveled and asked Jesus how He did that. Jesus told them that if they had faith and did not doubt that they could do the same thing. Jesus also told them whatever they ask for in prayer, BELIEVING, that they will receive.

I heard a preacher one time ask his whole congregation to raise their hands if anyone were sick. Almost 80% of the people raised their hands. He immediately told them that some of them WOULD NOT GET HEALED! What kind of unbelief did this put into their thoughts? I believe that this is wrong. Jesus did not go around telling people that they would not be healed. Jesus healed all who believed in Him. The only people He did not heal were the ones in His own hometown who DID NOT BELIEVE. If you believe or say that God sometimes does not heal, then you are speaking doubt. We must get in the mind-set that God wants everyone healed every time. The bible says that by His stripes WE ARE HEALED. The words we speak are very powerful. Our words are like seeds being planted in our hearts. You can also plant weeds which can choke out the good seeds that were planted. Don’t let anyone else plant weeds in your heart. If someone preaches to you that God doesn’t heal everyone, you had better rebuke it. So if you say God sometimes does NOT heal, then what kind of seeds are you planting? Jesus said we can have what we say, so we better be careful on how we are saying things. Start planting God’s words today and quit planting weeds. God says we are healed, so that is what I am going to say. In Jesus Name 
