Ask for ANYTHING

You can ask for anything and the Father will do it! Really? How many Christians believe this? Jesus said that the words He speaks are not His own, but the Father who lives in Him. And Jesus said, “I am telling you the truth ANYONE who believes in Me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works because I am going to the Father. YOU CAN ASK FOR ANYTHING IN MY NAME, AND I WILL DO IT, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.” and Jesus repeated Himself in the next verse. “Yes, ask Me for anything in my Name and I will do it.” John chapter 14

In Matthew 16:19 Jesus says “whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in Heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in Heaven.” And in Matthew 18:18 Jesus repeats the same thing, but this time He begins with “I am telling you the truth” Then Jesus ends in verse 19 “I also tell you this: If two of you agree on earth concerning ANYTHING YOU ASK, my Father in heaven will do it for you!

Psalm 37 says Don’t worry about the wicked or even envy those who do wrong. For like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither. Trust in the Lord and do good, then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the Lord, AND HE WILL GIVE YOU THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART!

John 15:7 Jesus said “if you remain in Me and My Words remain in you, YOU MAY ASK FOR ANYTHING YOU WANT, and it WILL BE GRANTED!

Now does it happen right away? Yes sometimes, but mostly it takes time. Our prayers and words are like seeds being planted into the ground. A harvest requires good seeds, good soil, water, and sunlight. The good seeds are God’s Words. The good soil is our heart. Watering the seeds is reading and meditating on God’s Word. The sunlight is the Son. So keep speaking His Word. What goes through our eyes, goes to our mind. And what goes through our mind goes to our heart. What is on our heart comes out of our mouth producing a harvest of good fruit!
